Zhang Shiping, Vice Chairman of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former Vice Chairman of the All China Federation of Trade Unions, emphasized that our traffic safety should be regarded as a systematic project that requires the joint efforts of the government, society, and enterprises to promote it. Li Guoping, former Director of Safety and Director of Emergency Management Office of the Ministry of Transport, emphasized in his keynote speech the guiding role of General Secretary Xi Jinping's safety production instructions. The Ministry of Transport has achieved significant results in infrastructure optimization, transportation market supervision, and intelligent technology applications (such as Beidou monitoring and big data warning), but faces challenges such as heavy cargo transportation, regulation of new business formats, and extreme weather. Former Chief Engineer of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, Liu Zhaobin, emphasized the key role of "dual wheel innovation driven" (technological innovation+institutional innovation) in traffic safety, using the example of the automobile recall system to illustrate its effectiveness.
