The distance between the item and the wall is not less than 0.5 meters.
The distance between the stack of items and the column shall not be less than 0.3 meters.
The distance between stored items and air ducts, heating pipes, and radiators should not be less than 0.5 meters.
The distance between the heating unit, air duct furnace, and flue should not be less than 1 meter in all directions.
Safe distance from external environment: The distance between medium-sized hazardous chemical storage warehouses and surrounding public buildings, transportation arteries (highways, railways, waterways), industrial and mining enterprises, etc. shall not be less than 200 meters.
The distance from other buildings is generally 12-40 meters, which needs to be selected based on the nature and quantity of the items to be stored, as well as the fire resistance rating of other buildings.
Large hazardous chemical storage warehouses should maintain a distance of at least 1000 meters from surrounding public buildings, transportation arteries, and industrial and mining enterprises.
Retail stores of hazardous chemicals should maintain a distance of at least 500 meters from densely populated residential areas.
In addition, the warehouse should also be equipped with a physical fence, and the distance between the fence and the buildings in the warehouse area should not be less than 5 meters, and should meet the fire distance requirements between the buildings on both sides of the fence.
